Conversations with Critters Continues To Celebrate Our 3rd Anniversary This Week

Today Critters, we are pleased to round out this super and we do mean duper week of celebration. Cuz. Like we said on Tuesday. CwC is 3 years old!
When we launched this incredible crittercentric newsletter celebrating animal antics, we started at zero. Many thanks to each and every one of you good natured souls who have helped us grow over these past few years and continue to move forward with us toward new horizons. We luvluvluv you. Furever.

Heidi: Hello Friends! Thank you for joining us today and, really, all week long for this incredible series of celebratory posts! Thank you for the greatest compliment ever given to a writer. Thank you for your readership. And what do our Core Community Critters see on the horizon?
Jojo: Hello and welcome, Critters! I luvluvluv you.
Jasper: Greetings! Happy Anniversary! Jasper: Let’s start with a conversation opener in which we express our plans for the future.
Chris: Good idea, Jasper.
Jojo: Ditto, Jasper.
Jasper: Jojo, why don’t you go first.
Jojo: Thank you, Jasper.
Jasper: You’re welcome.
Jojo: For the record, for me personally, I would like to say thank you, one and all, for being a part of my Senior Furever Adoption. Last October, as you may well know, I came to live here at the Condo after going through Muttville Senior Dog Rescue. All of you at CwC have made me feel at home and I feel so much gratitude. For this upcoming CwC year, I’m planning on more unconditional canine luvluvluv. The end. Furever.
Jasper: Critters, it doesn’t get any better than this. However and Furthermore. I am planning on more plot twists for our Detective Series. Please, stay tuned. The end. How bout you, Chris?
Chris: Thank you for the question, Jasper.
Jasper: You’re welcome. The end.
Chris: I’m planning on more naps after I eat more food. Full stop.
Jasper: That seems kind of status quo, Chris. I’d like to see us be more innovative. To grow. To evolve.
Chris: Sure, Jasper. No problemo. I’ll sleep first and then eat. In. That. Order. The end.
Jojo: Jasper, do you mean we’re going to create more intricate plot twists and wild characterizations?
Jasper: Exactly. Furthermore, I envision not only more nuance in our writing, but also even more depth, meaning, feeling, and well, something of significance. I’ll get back to you on that one.
Jojo: Fur sure. Take your time, Jasper. That’s what significance does. It takes time.
Jasper: Thank you, Jojo. I appreciate your understanding in this matter. Oh! I thought of it.
Jojo: I’m all ears, Jasper.
Chris: Ditto. From. The. Couch.
Jasper: Style, Critters. I envision a real sense of style in our writing going into our new CwC year. The end.
Chris: Do you mean prose style, Jasper? Or some other kind of style?
Jasper: Thank you for the question, Chris.
Chris: You’re welcome.
Jasper: I mean both prose style and poetic style. Full stop.
Chris: Thank you for the clarification, Jasper. I’m feeling quite sleepy.
Jasper: Of course, Chris.
Jojo: Would now be a good time for me to say again how much I’m enjoying my Senior Adopted Furever Home here since last October? It’s coming up on my first year, speaking of anniversaries.
Jasper: Your question is quite timely, Jojo, and also astute.
Jojo: Gosh, thank you very much, Jasper.
Jasper: Yes. Furthermore. Not only is it important to look forward to our next year at CwC, to share our hopes, our dreams and our plans for the future, it is also imperative and of the utmost importance to reflect on what we have achieved and accomplished over the past year in a retrospective of epic and existential proportions. And, I must add, the end.
Chris: When do we eat?
Jasper: Soon, Chris. Very very soon.
Chris: Well, that’s a relief.
Jojo: That certainly answers my question about now being a good time to say how much I’m enjoying my Senior Adopted Furever Home here since last October. Furever.
Jasper: Your Senior Adoption Anniversary in October will be our next big bash celebration at CwC, Jojo.
Jojo: Thank you, Jasper. I’m really looking forward to it.
Chris: We’ll be sure to bake some special snacks for you, Jojo.
Jojo: Thank you, Chris. I’m really looking forward to it.
Chris: Critters, as a brief recap of our past year, we cooked up some specialty baked goods. Kibble Scones. Critter Corn Fritters. Organic Baked Potatoes. Full stop.
Jojo: Chris, you did leave out one important detail if I may be so bold as to offer a correction.
Chris: Of course, Jojo. I’m all ears.
Jojo: I would like to add for the edification and enjoyment of our Dear Gentle Critters and Dear Gentle Readers, that the Potato was in fact a Russet Potato. Full stop.
Chris: Thank you for the clarification on the Potato, Jojo. I stand corrected. Furthermore, let’s share that previously featured photo of you in your Test Kitchen as a defining moment from this past year:
Jasper: Jojo, we are so happy that you came to live with us. After all, we did not like finding ourselves dogless after our Best Friends, Star and Panda, crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
Chris: Jojo, we luvluvluv you. You’re our Best Friend. Furever.
Jasper: Simply. The. Best.
Jojo: Thank you, Chris and Jasper. I luvluvluv that you adopted me at the age of 13 years old and now I’m 14. It’s so nice to be here and make plans. I would also like to go on more field trips and interview more friends.
Chris: Jojo, you are a true visionary.
