Thank you, April! Sorry for the delay in responding to your wonderful comment! We’re a little sleep deprived here. Panda got into something the other day and I’ve been nursing her through it. We expect a full recovery!🐼🐾🐾💜
Aww bless. No apology necessary, I just wasn't sure I had shown up for some reason. ❤ I wish Panda a speedy recovery and hopefully plenty of nice treats to help that along🙏
During the weekdays, Salem will start waking me up starting around 7:00. She will get off the bed after a bit and then come back around 8:30. After another bit, she jumps off the bed, and then Nalia will start meowing, demanding that I get up because I have to feed them before I go to work, or if it's the weekend, before the start of my day (they usually get fed later on the weekends because their human is harder to get of bed during that time).
Salem: Our Hooman Mama is tough to wake up, but we're cute and she knowz it so she eventually succumbs to our cute demands😸
Thank you, Kimber, Salem & Nadia for this incredible Field Note and Behavioral Pattern. We are most impressed with the effectiveness of the methodology of Salem & Nadia. Keep up the good work and please continue to send your observations. Luvluvluv, Chris & Jasper Kitten🐾🐾
Arya says this is another wonderful scientific effort. He gives the Critters five beaks. He would say more but he is busy digesting knowledge of one of my books, while on the coffee table.
If I'm late with brunch, Edward takes the steel food bowl, runs to the top of the cage with it, and then drops it. All you hear is CLANKA CLANKA CLANKA, as it hits the steel floor of the first level.
He also has learned how to hold the bowl in his mouth and run it along the wires of the cage. It makes the same sound, but there's more of it and it's louder.
When I get downstairs to the cage, he drops the bowl in a "FOOD HERE PLEASE" sort of way in front of the cage door.
Gosh, thank you, Stanley! Thank you very much! I’m so happy to see you here in the Comments for Critters. Our next post drops tomorrow, Friday 2pm Pacific Time. Luvluvluv, Jasper 🐾🐾
Genevieve's method is to stand on the nightstand and stare at me until I wake up. It works sometimes. It's like when Snoopy pretends to be a vulture. https://peanuts.fandom.com/wiki/Fierce_Vulture
Cecilia's method is more reliable -- find a box or bag that makes noise, and move it a few inches at a time until it wakes me up. Unfortunately, her favorite time to do that is 3:30am. She's ready for the day to begin.
Thank you, Heather! This is an incredible Field Note on methodology! The link to Snoopy in a vulture pose really supports the work! We are also fascinated to know that Genevieve and Cecilia have markedly different methods.
Excellent and very scientific critical data analysis! What a great job the critters did here. Thanks Heidi ❤😂
