Walk with the animals. Talk with the animals. And First and Foremost! The paperback publication of The Case of the Misplaced Priority Envelope! Plus! Ch. 8 of The Case of the Bowled Over Bowler Hat!
Arya and I offer hearty congratulations; it is good to see a book published that puts non-human animals as the intelligent, kind and compassionate beings they most undoutedly are. We need more stories like this. Thank you, Heidi.🦜🕊🐦🐈
Thank you, Perry & Arya! Your support and understanding is very much appreciated and taken to heart.:) We plan on a whole detective series, so will continue to do our best, representing the kindness and compassion and intelligence of our beloved animals.
Thank you, James! You know, I was sitting here thinking about how it's been 6 months since I wrote the first sentence of the book and now it's in print. Thank you so much for being a part of making the story better.:)
Well done Heidi! Clever as always, I love the twists and turns of this chapter. You know I’m eagerly anticipating the return of Clementine and Petal too! I have a feeling they’re about to shake things up.
Thank you, Diana! Jasper Kitten certainly has good instincts! Let's see what happens next! And whodunit! We hope you are feeling better! And thank you for the good wishes on the paperback edition.:)
Congrats on the book! I'm going to purchase my copy soon. The kibble scones reminded me of the pellet treats I used to make for the original degus, many years ago. I'll have to see if I can find that recipe again, now that spring is almost here! :) Quite the cliffhanger, trying to figure out who killed Reginald!
Thank you, Squizz. And again, thank you for making the stories better than if I had been left to my own devices, even with the Critters. If you come up with that recipe, let us know.:) And, yes, the mystery surrounding Reginald continues to deepen.
I love how Chris had time for the soup 😂 that would be me too, Chris! You can't solve a mystery on an empty stomach.
Thank you, Trudi! Chris is most appreciative of your reading! He’s good at eating and solving crimes at the same time. Full steam ahead.:)
What a talented guy!✨
It was a fun scene to work into the investigation. Like Chris said, you gotta eat. The end.
Congratulations on publishing, Heidi! Looking forward to my copy arriving! Awesome chapter and looking forward to reading more. :)
Thank you, Neil! Did you order a copy? Many thanks on behalf of the J Kitten, Sleuth & Purveyor of Bright Shiny Objects Detective Agency!
Copy ordered - should be here Thursday. :)
Thank you so much, my friend.:) Beyond words.

Thank you, Kristin! Clementine and Petal are on their way and they feel A-okay.:) Plus, they're now in uniform. A shake up indeed, my friend.:)
Aww they grow up so fast don’t they? 😉
Yes, but the plan is to keep them kitten cadets for now.:) What do you think?
Kittens furever!
Awesome. The end.:)
Aha! Now we know the identity of the victim! I'm looking forward to discovering how Jasper zeroed in on him.
