WOW! What a KA-ZAP of a cliffhanger! I had one of the THREE YEAR OLD degus escape today, and by "escape" I mean, jumped on my shoulders and scooted down my right side. When the live trap caught him, he was COVERED in COBWEBS. This means I will not see them at my human height and will have to go scooting around like a degu in my basement to find them, if I want to clean them.
Thank you, Squizz! KA-ZAP is right! But enough of fiction, that is a real life harrowing experience with the 3 year old Degu! And back in the basement, no less! Please, be very very careful!
Very nice read on Chapter 2 Heidi! I'm an optimist so a glass of Ginger Ale is always half-full. ;)
Thank you, Neil! I’m an optimist too, so a toast to you! Thank you so much for being here with us at Critters.:)
Have you had a glass of the ginger ale that is made by the ginger snails of Quebec? :)
That I have not tried! I may have to take a drive over to Gatineau though and begin the search. :)
Gosh, Oregon has nothing on the ginger snails of Quebec. Full stop.:)
I'm luvluvluving the way this is weaving the history of cats into the story. Very nicely done. The end... 😎👍
Thank you, Chris! It's a fun way to work with backstory. The end.
Great chapter Heidi - lots of clues bringing lots of questions!

Does the wire lead to deceit?
'Old Money' to blame?

Thank you so much, April! It's elementary! I luvluvluv the Haiku Collection that grows with each Critter Chapter. Thank you very much, my friend.:)
Adorable, thank you Heidi. Be well, Geraldine
Thank you, Geraldine! Much appreciated.:) Thank you very much for being here with us at Critters.
Snug in a pub and ginger ale! A warm fire and a cosy armchair! Perfect for the next instalment of your mystery, critters! 🥰
Thank you, Trudi! The Critters are working tirelessly on their next chapter. Please, stay tuned as they don't want to get too too comfortable yet!
I’m fully tuned and ready to read! ✨
"Ancestral voltage" is an interesting concept! Have to think on that one. . . Love your characters. ❤️
Thank you, Mary! That is an incredible mash up!
😊
