Wonderful Heidi! Is someone hiding out in the manor house I ask myself? I can't believe it's Sebastion, he's been such a trusty retainer for years ha ha.

World spins on axis

In the quaint land of the Brits

Its time for high tea

An English cuppa

Is the ultimate cure all

Question the butler!

Thank you, April! What a wonderful pair of Haikus to add to the incredible collection! Question: would it be more appropriate to refer to the tea as a High Tea? It takes place at 5 pm. Thank you for your expert advice in advance!

Ha ha -I believe that afternoon tea is between 2 and 4 and high tea is anytime after 5. Usually it is afternoon tea that the very posh people have and the 5 o clock version is normally for lower classes! I believe in the manor they would probably have Afternoon Tea at 4. Of course, I'm not that posh and I also prefer coffee. Although if I was drinking tea it would be black Earl Grey with lemon! Hope that helps :)

Thank you, April! That is most excellent! It confirms my own research. Perhaps the Critter Detectives are perceived on the Purrington Estate as being slightly less than Posh, although they arrived in the late afternoon from their travels.:) We'll be sure to keep the Posh timeframe for Afternoon Tea in the 4 pm range when the guests arrive.:) Earl Grey is my favorite tea, too. The end.

Woah she does it again! Another cliff hanger! I’m all ears, paws and toe beans waiting to find out why Archibald has collapsed. So glad the critters are enjoying scones and tea. Very proper!
