Conversations with Critters
Walk with the animals. Talk with the animals. And Flashes of Insight…
Today, Critters, we are pleased to offer the Compilation of Six Word Stories in flashes of insight. These special and concise narratives have been carefully curated by our Core Community Critters, Jasper Kitten, Chris and our Senior Shining Star. Thank you to our Dear Gentle Readers for heeding our Clarion Call for submissions. With so much to share, please join us in excellent flashes of six word critter conversation.
Heidi: Hello, Friends! Welcome welcome to our Presentation of Flashes of Insight! Thank you for your rapt attention in heeding the Clarion Call for Six Word Story submissions. We are grateful. Take it away, Critters!
Star: Hello hello! I have spent a great deal of time, when I’m not sleeping, gazing upon these incredible stories.
Chris: Thank you, Star. Your point is well taken.
Star: Thank you very much, Chris. That’s so nice of you to say so.
Chris: You’re welcome!
Star: Gosh, Chris. Thank you for leaving room for me to sleep on the Couch, too.
Chris: Of course of course. I find the six word length of these highly literary stories to be purr purr perfect in every way in between naps.
Jasper: Chris, would you say that a Six Word Story is similar to a snack?
Chris: Absolutely.
Jasper: Critters, sleeping and reading really sets the stage for presenting these incredible and concise stories.
Star: Jasper Kitten, with all formality and due respect, would you like the honors of presenting the First Six Word Story?
Jasper: Yes, thank you, Star.
Chris: Please. Proceed.
Jasper: Critters, the First Six Word Story submission is from our Superfan of CwC! Yes! She’s been with us from the start and through over 200 posts! Thank you to our very own, Grandma, for this incredible story which resonates with both nuance and complexity!
Substack writings are the very best.

Chris: Incredible storytelling.
Star: Impressive narrative.
Jasper: Critters, clearly, storytelling runs, shall we say in the vernacular, in the family.
Chris: It does.
Star: Yes.
Jasper: And now! With all due respect and fanfare, we present our featured character driven opening photo story. Take it away, Ralph!
Choose friends carefully, and play nice!

Chris: Ralph shows a great deal of literary and behavioral maturity here. The end.
Jasper: Yes, he offers us tremendous insight on growth.
Star: Furthermore, Ralph speaks to how we can all constellate around each other.
Chris: Well said, Star.
Jasper: Star, your commentary truly shines.
Star: Thank you, Jasper.
Jasper: Of course of course. And now! For our next incredible story, we delve into the Hooman-Animal Bond and offer a photo for the edification and enjoyment of our Readers:

and Steve the Cat
Chris: I would like to give a special shout out to Steve for reminding me that not all cats in the act of literary catnaps require the Couch. The end.
Jasper: Thank you for your thoughtfulness and consideration, Chris.
Chris: Of course of course. I like being flexible.
Jasper: Here, my friends, is an offering close to my heart and own true nature:

Kermit: You’re welcome! I’m a Frug. Full stop.
