Is that a haiku at the end? It goes well with the cherry blossoms. This “rewinding” walk looks quite a beautiful place! Our dog Freddie would be interested in learning more about the gluten free diet. In fact, he would be interested in anything involving food.

Yes, that is indeed a haiku! We are happy you find it pairs well with the cherry blossoms. We are lucky to live near a lot of open space. Freddie & Panda are going to have to talk. It sounds like they may end up in conversation. We’ll have to be careful! Thank you for reading, Emma!🐼

Our Rudi and Ravi love shabbat on Friday night because as soon as the candles and kiddush cup come out, they know they will get some challah--even sooner: when the cupboard door with candles, etc. opens, that's it. And if we even say the words shabbat or challah in any context and they overhear us, boom! They're off to the dining room to wait for their unusual treat. (It's the only gluten they have).

Thank you, Lev! What a great story. I’ll have to look into recipes for gluten free challah! Love it. Shabbat Shalom tomorrow to you and Rudy and Ravi. Thank you for reading Critters.🐾🐾

And to you! Our first Westie had a Hebrew name, Kobi, our second Russian, Yuri, then German for Rudi and Indian (Sanskrit) for little Ravi. :-)

I love that Panda enjoys baby carrots. I always bring a bag of baby carrots when I visit the goats. It is a healthy snack for critters and hoomans alike.

Well, I hope the gluten free diet improves things for Panda, and it just might. I went gluten free over a year ago and no longer get excruciating migraines! Wow!

I love the beautiful cherry blossoms!

Panda, your Hooman is awesome for always taking such good care of you and your pals. Glad you are enjoying your new diet and feeling hopeful this cures your neurology problem. As we age things definitely change. Looking forward to hearing back from you with an update.

Don't feel bad about being on a Special Diet, Panda. I'm on two of them. I have one of Crohn's, which is to make sure that I eat very little fiber, and another for Congestive Heart Failure, which is to make sure I eat very little sodium. I had to stop eating some favorite foods, and managed to find new favorite foods. Sometimes I eat something I should not be eating, by accident ....but usually it's ok. :)

Excellent to hear about Panda at 16 years young! The switch to gluten-free should help out a lot as well. Really nice to see that photo of the cherry blossoms!

Thanks: I’m subscribed.:). If I lived closer to Vegas, I’d loan these folks my Roundhouse traps. A much less stressful design.

Oh gosh, thank you, Arya and Perry! Thank you very much. Dogs are also not allowed to eat those things. We have so much in common, Arya. Btw, have you tried using your beak to type? I use my toe beans. Luvluvluv, Panda🐼
