"A true sign of Chihuahua ancestry is a resistance to the application of the Cheek Swab. I personally put up quite a bit of resistance." Oh my gosh, the Cheek Swab dilemma is hilarious - thank you for sharing, and thanks to your Critters for their contributions on behalf of all dogs. Snack rewards, for sure 🤣

And extra-cool poem this time, as well - so creative!

Thank you, Sydney! We will write the specifics of the Cheek Swab when Star gets her DNA kit, snacks included. We are expecting confirmation of Chihuahua ancestry.:) And who knew that deoxyribonucleic acid would divide itself into two sets of 5 syllables? Perfect for Haiku.🐾🐾

Fascinating reading about Nick and Star's common ancestors! I also learned what Min Pin stands for: Miniature Pinscher. :)

Thank you, Neil! It always seems so amazing that no matter the size or look of a dog, they all descend from the Gray Wolf. Nick has the long legs of a Min Pin, so I don’t expect Star’s DNA results to show that, but there are always surprises.:)
