I’m Heidi Zawelevsky and I’m what happened to an English Major. When I heard my calling, there was a lot of barking and meowing. I have been working with and writing about animals throughout my life and have covered a range from dog walking to wildlife rehab to veterinary nursing. At the heart of it, I’m a naturalist and an animal lover. Their antics lift me up and their love sustains me.
