Today, Critters, we are ready and set for a special event of epic proportions! The 2nd Annual Conversations with Critters Tailgate Party is about to begin! Last year, we focused on the Puppy Bowl, hosted by our esteemed Core Community Critter Nick. This year, the tradition continues with an emphasis if not a kitten kerfuffle on all things Feline. Chris and Jasper Kitten eagerly await the Big Day, the one, the only, Kitten Bowl. They are ready to call the shots with Nick coaching from the sidelines. Please join us for the kickoff of this excellent critter conversation.
Heidi: Welcome to the 2nd Annual Conversations with Critters Tailgate Party for One and All! Among all of the events for the big kickoff, we are tuning in to the Great American Rescue Bowl. The event is produced by North Shore Animal League America and will be broadcast by Great American Family on February 11, 12p-2p ET/9a-11a PT, so please be sure to check your local listings and help support and raise awareness for animal adoption. Furever! North Shore Animal League America is one of the oldest animal welfare groups and I used to send them my allowance when I was a kid, dreaming of the day when I could adopt my own Furever Furbabies.
Chris: Welcome, Sports Fans.
Jasper: Ditto.
Panda: Welcome, Friends. I’ll be sitting in the stands and cheering on the Kittens this year!
Nick: Likewise and I just want to add what a special honor it is to be coaching instead of hosting the Tailgate Party this year. We are coming to you live from the garage!
Chris: I luvluvluv the garage. I was born in a garage near the Tesla Factory and now I am inviting all Critters to join us for our Kitten Bowl Tailgate Party in my world heritage site at the Condo.
Jasper: Chris, your birthplace is the stuff of legend.
Chris: And you were found in a bush at a gas station. We luvluvluv the garage! Location, location, location.
Nick: Chris and Jasper, do you have your snacks ready?
Chris: Ready!
Nick: And do you have refreshing drinking water ready?
Jasper: Ready!
Nick: Then let’s get this party going!
Chris: Oh Nick, thank you for your excellent coaching skills so we can succeed and meet our goals for our Tailgate Party. The end.
Jasper: Thank you, Nick. Yeah. I feel good about it.
Nick: My pleasure. You are both excellent team players. The most important thing is to maintain a positive-can-do attitude and never run out of snacks! You’ve got this!
Chris: Snacks are furever! It’s kickoff time. Let’s get our cans open open open.
Jasper: It sure feels good here in the garage, Chris. Not too hot. Not too cold.
Chris: That is correct, Jasper Kitten.
Jasper: The ambient temperature is purrfect for our snacks. We can keep our free choice kibbles in the bowl all day.
Nick: O’kay! Good points! Score! Now let’s go for it and raise awareness for animal adoption furever!
Chris: Thank you, Nick, that’s excellent coaching.
Jasper: It’s so spacious here in the garage and smells wonderful just like the automotive industry.
Chris: It’s aroma therapy for indoor cats, Jasper.
Jasper: We are so blessed and fortunate to have found our Furever Homes, Chris.
Chris: I’m grateful everyday, especially for my own garage. You can also tell the depths of my gratitude by how much kibble I eat and how much time I spend sleeping on the couch.
Nick: Excellent team spirit! I’m also grateful for my adoption out of the shelter. Going on to coach this incredible tailgating event is further furever proof! Go Critters!

I am very interested in the Kitten Bowl and the Puppy Bowl. Not so much that other thing that happens tomorrow, although the commercials are sometimes funny.
