Today, Critters, we’ve been celebrating all week for our 2nd Birthday of CwC! Party animals by nature, and furever on the move, our Core Community Critters, Jasper Kitten, Chris and our Senior Shining Star, discuss their hopes and dreams and their big plans and adventures for the upcoming year. Please, join us in excellent celebratory rock the casbah critter conversation.
Heidi: Hello, Friends! Thank you for being here with us during this special celebratory happy happy CwC two year anniversary! Thank you very much for your rapt attention this week and every week! Because of you, dear gentle readers, we are looking forward to our third year with this funluvluvluving newsletter.
Jasper: Thank you, Critters!
Chris: Thank you very much!
Star: We are so grateful to all of you for being so shiny!
Jasper: Two years ago, in the annals of time at CwC, known in the vernacular as Conversations with Critters, we launched our incredible newsletter, starting at Zero.
Chris: Correct. My first word in conversation was, and I do realize this may come as a surprise, my first word was what.
Jasper: Well said, Chris.
Chris: Thank you, Jasper.
Jasper: You’re welcome!
Star: Jasper Kitten, what was your first word for CwC?
Jasper: Star, it’s so kind of you to ask.
Star: Of course of course. It’s important for the record.
Jasper: Yes. My first word for CwC was why. I’ve been off and running ever since then. The end.
Star: My furever residency here at CwC began this June with my Senior Adoption from Muttville Senior Dog Rescue. My first word for CwC was furever.
Chris: We have the most sincere and genuine words to say to you, Star. Jasper Kitten, would you like the honors?
Jasper: Yes, please. Thank you for asking Chris. We would like to say to you, Star, that we luvluvluv you.
Star: Gosh. I luvluvluv both of you, too. Thank you. Thank you very much.
Chris: You’re welcome!
Jasper: Ditto. Ditto.
Star: Critters, as we look ahead to this next stellar year at CwC, we’d like to share our plans with you. First and foremost, we are going to keep shining!
Chris: Excellent, thank you, Star. We appreciate your leadership and guidance.
Star: Gosh, Chris.
Chris: Furthermore, Critters, we are going to spend some serious amount of time on The Couch. See you there. The end.
Jasper: And beyond that, we will be solving mysteries now that we are up and running at the J Kitten, Sleuth & Purveyor of Bright Shiny Objects Detective Agency. We are planning an entire series!
Star: So please stay tuned!
Chris: Of course of course, our one said Hooman will be studying for the Oregon Naturalist Program, so we do expect a fair number of field notes, guides and trips.
Star: In fact, Critters, let’s share a creekside walk in the rain for the edification and enjoyment of our readers.
Jasper: This is quite soothing, listening to the rain, seeing a single leaf fall and drift onto the creek. I luvluvluv this video. Yeah. I feel good about it. It’s how I like to experience water. In a video. The end.
Chris: Ditto, Jasper. Ditto. In fact, I’m exhausted looking so far ahead. I’m ready for my next nap. Full stop.
Jasper: Good point, Chris. It is, afterall, in the US, Labor Day Weekend.
